Abstract

The end of the cold war marked a significant shift in the international system in the Asia Pacific region. The emergence of China as a new emerging power and great economic power, bringing the United States (US) to implement policy Rebalancing Strategy. To strengthen its presence in Asia-Pacific A puts 2,500 marines in Darwin, Australia. This is a challenge for Indonesia that is geographically adjacent.
