FLAVONOID COMPOUNDS FROM LEAF OF KALANCHOE TOMENTOSA



Kaempferol (1) had been isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of the leaf of Kalanchoe tomentosa collected
from Cihideung, Lembang, Indonesia. The chemical structures of these compounds were identified based on
their spectroscopic data including UV, IR, NMR spectra and and comparative data from previous journals. Inhibitory activity of alpha amylase showed that compounds showed IC50 values of 346 µU / mL. These results showed IC50 values greater than that of acarbose of 39.3 µU / mL.
