A known nor-labdane, inulifolinone E (1) had been isolated from the extract of the whole plant of “Ki Rinyuh” (Austraeupatorium inulifolium) growing in West Java, Indonesia. The structure of the compound
was determined by NMR data (1H, 13C, COSY, HSQC, HMBC). Antibacterial properties of compound 1 was also determined and was found to be not active.
