Smart Aquarium Control And Notification System Utilizing Fuzzy Logic And Telegram application



Abstract

The paper presents a solution for advancing aquarium management through the integration of fuzzy logicbased control and Telegram messaging application notifications. Aquarium enthusiasts and professionals alike face the challenge of maintaining optimal environmental conditions for aquatic life, often requiring constant monitoring and manual adjustments. To address these challenges, we introduce a Smart Aquarium Control System (SACS) that leverages fuzzy logic to autonomously regulate critical parameters such as temperature and water circulation. Fuzzy logic enables adaptability to dynamic environmental changes, mimicking the decision-making processes of experienced aquarists. In addition to fuzzy logic control, our system seamlessly integrates with the Telegram application, enabling real-time communication between the aquarium and the user. Users receive instant notifications, alerts, and status updates on their mobile devices, empowering remote monitoring and rapid response to deviations and emergencies. Experimental results show that the smart aquarium system prototype works according to its design objectives. Temperature regulation is achieved by activating the heater and/or cooler according to the current temperature conditions and he level of water turbidity can be controlled through the functionalization of the water filter according to the water turbidity conditions at that time. Notifications are sent at any time via the Telegram application and all aquarium conditions can be monitored by users via mobile phones that installed the Telegram application. This integration of advanced control and communication technologies not only enhances the user experience but also would contribute to the conservation of aquatic biodiversity by promoting sustainable and responsible aquarium management practices.
